3. Open CS2. Set your game to full screen windowed.

4. Run the loader.

First, you need to download a config from our discord or the config section on the forum.

Afterwards, place the config in this folder: AppData\Roaming\distort\cs2\configs

1. First, find and download any chosen hitsounds. Hitsounds must be in the .wav format.

2. Go to this folder \AppData\Roaming\distort\cs2\sounds and place your chosen sounds.

3. Use the following file names:

• hs.wav - headshot sound

• hit.wav - hit sound

• 2.wav - second kill

• 3.wav - third kill

• 4.wav - fourth kill

For some users, installing with the above method will not work, and you will need to install the files manually. You can do so by following these steps:

1. Download the autoexec files.

2. Go to your CS2 installation folder.

3. Go to \Counter-Strike Global Offensive\game\csgo\cfg.

4. Extract the .rar into this folder.

5. Open your CS2 console and write exec autoexec.

To use the web radar, simply open the menu and find "web radar" under the visuals tab. Click the copy link button, and then paste this link in your browser.

This error is caused by your internet service provider (ISP) blocking the SSL connection to our server.

To fix this issue, please do one of the following:

• Connect to a VPN before running the loader. You can disable the VPN after injection.

You can use any VPN. We recommend ProtonVPN as a free solution.

Alternatively,

• Review your router’s security settings for the blocked SSL requests and allow them.

  • Since router interfaces vary, consult your router manual or contact your ISP for further instructions.

If you see this error it means that you took too long to open CS2 after running the software.

To fix this issue, please run your game immediately after running the loader, or inject with your game already opened.

To fix this issue, take the following steps:

1. Head to %appdata% and find the Distort folder.

2. Delete the "user" file inside of the folder, and then try again.

Distort is fully external and uses your CPU to draw the overlay on your screen. This can be intensive, especially for older machines. To improve performance, do the following:

1. Go to windows settings → select gaming → select game mode → disable "Game Mode"

1. Go to windows settings → select system → select display → select graphics settings → disable "Hardware-Accelererated GPU scheduling"

If the above solutions do not work, you can try limiting your FPS in CS2 with the "fps_max" console command. Set fps_max to be slightly above your average fps. For Example: if you normally get 200fps, then set fps_max to 210

1. Set your windows resolution to match your CS2 resolution

   1. Go to windows settings → select system → select display → select your desired resolution.

Put your desired resolution here. In this example, we use 1280x720

1. Open a new loader and inject.

This issue is caused by having conflicting mouse drivers. To fix this issue, follow these steps:

1. Uninstall any mouse software (Razer Synapse, Logitech G Hub, Corsair iCUE, etc)

2. Head to Device Manager.

1. Select the "Mice and other pointing devices" section.

1. Uninstall as many inactive / old devices as possible.

This issue is caused by using modified CS2 radar settings. To fix this issue, please take the following steps:

1. If playing in stretched resolution, please first follow the stretched resolution setup tutorial.

2. Set your CS2 radar to the default settings.

   

Bluescreening can be caused by corrupted windows files or incompatible mouse drivers. If you only bluescreen whilst using aimbot, the issue is likely a driver conflict.

Please take the following steps:

1. Open a CMD as administrator.

2. Run the following commands all separately, one at a time:

   1. sfc /scannow

   2. DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth

   3. DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth

   4. DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

   5. bcdedit /set hypervisorlaunchtype off
